RST Mechanical offers full-service system maintenance. We service all of Rhode Island including Narragansett, Providence, Cranston, Warwick and Coventry.

SERVICE INFORMATION

When was the last time you cleaned all of the dust, pollen and debris out of your heating or cooling unit? Every time you turn your system on, that is all getting forced back into circulation in your home. It also reduces the efficiency of the system, adds wear and tear to the interior components and decreases the output.

RST Mechanical is now accepting new yearly service maintenance clients and we would love to restore your HVAC units to their most productive versions. Your HVAC system should be cleaned, serviced and checked for any developing issues once a year. Many manufacturers also require this for warranties.

During a maintenance appointment, our friendly, certified technicians perform a multi-point inspection of the system, running a test cycle and checking the performance. The units will be cleaned, including filters. We will address any questions you have about your system, including giving you pointers to achieve the most comfort with the least energy consumption.

Central HVAC Systems

We will complete a multi level inspection and cleaning of your central HVAC system including changing air filters, cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting ductwork for leaks. We will also check refrigerant checks and inspect electrical components.

Ductless Heating and Cooling

Ductless systems have both interior and exterior hardware, and we will inspect and clean filters, the condenser, the drain pan, and coils. We will balance and test the fan wheel and check refrigerant levels. We will also make sure the drainage pipes are flowing freely and are not hindered by vegetation.

Heat Pumps

Heat pumps require maintenance once a year if they solely produce heat, and twice a year if they are dual purpose heating and cooling. Our friendly service technicians will clean or replace your filters, clean the coils, inspect and tighten electrical connections as necessary, and more.
